What we collect (Data Minimisation)

We collect only what's strictly necessary to provide our services. This includes: • Your email address when you create an account • Information you choose to share within our tools • Basic usage data (e.g. page visits) to help us improve our products We never collect more than we need, and we never sell your data to third parties. Our lawful basis for processing personal data is either your consent or our legitimate interest in providing the service.

How we protect your data

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use trusted cloud infrastructure providers located within the European Economic Area (EEA) or covered by an adequacy decision. For school and student data, we take extra care. We understand the responsibility that comes with handling educational information and treat it accordingly. We conduct regular reviews of our security practices.

How we use your information

We use your information to: • Provide and improve our services • Communicate with you about your account • Send occasional updates about new features (you can opt out anytime) We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes. We retain your data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected.

Your GDPR rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights: • Right of access – request a copy of the personal data we hold about you • Right to rectification – ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data • Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") – ask us to delete your account and data • Right to restriction – ask us to limit how we use your data • Right to data portability – receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format • Right to object – object to processing based on legitimate interests • Right to withdraw consent – at any time, without affecting prior processing To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@learnstudio.education. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required to keep you signed in and the site functioning correctly. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. You can manage or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings.

Data controller

Learn Studio is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. If you have questions about how we handle your data, you can reach us at privacy@learnstudio.education.

Third-party sub-processors

We use a small number of trusted third-party services (sub-processors) to help run our products, including hosting and transactional email delivery. All sub-processors are bound by data processing agreements and are required to meet our data protection standards. We do not transfer personal data outside the EEA without appropriate safeguards.

Schools and student data

We understand the special responsibility that comes with handling student information. We work with schools to ensure compliance with GDPR and other applicable data protection laws. Schools acting as data controllers may contact us to sign a Data Processing Agreement (DPA).

Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or contractual reasons.
